Protein Crossreference Database
ProtDict is a UniProt based Protein dictionary, capable of finding UniProt entries based on AC numbers, SwissProt IDs, EC numbers, 3 types of gene names, and 100 different types of database cross references.
Usage: Simply start typing the identifier in the search box, and after a few characters a box will appear suggesting possible completitions. When you have typed the complete identifier in the search box, press search. If there is only one unique entry corresponding to the identifier, than this entry is returned with some details. (AC number, SwissProt ID, Sequence, and its length, gene names, database cross references, and keywords.) If there is more than one UniProt entry satisfying the search criteria, than a list of them is returned with links to the corresponding unique UniProt entries.
